#49 - Intolerance: Love's Struggle Through the Ages

Yup. That's not happening.

I didn't want to have to take a veto so early in the game. But this movie, while I only gave it 3 minutes, is already going to give me night terrors.

It's not it's fault, it was made in 1916 - and I'm sure it's amazing. As are many things that I can't stand: curry, ballet, and socialism.

But like you'd imagine any old movie - the actors are terrible. The editing of one scene to the next is so disjointed and flickery that I think I'm going to have a seizure. Maybe that's the main point, just the actual physical aspect of watching this movie hurts my brain. And my eyes. And my ears!!

The musical score behind the whole thing is just a constant organ playing some eery music that would be better suited on a merry go round on Alcatraz.

I can see how this movie would be epic in 1916, I just can't handle it. I'm a terrible person.

I tried. I truly did.

But just look at the poster. Thank you Satan, guess I'll see you in my dreams.
